Ras El Hanout Cherry Pie – World Spice

Ingredients

• 5 cups fresh cherries, pitted
• 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon cornstarch
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon almond extract
• 1 teaspoon lemon juice
• 1 tablespoon Ras El Hanout , ground
• 9 cups cake flour
• 2 teaspoon Kosher Salt
• 3 cups unsalted cold butter, grated or diced into cubes
• 3 tablespoons plain vodka
• 1 cup ice water
• 1 egg, beaten
• Optional: 1 tablespoon milk or heavy cream
