Linzer Sandwich Cookies on BakeSpace.com

Ingredients

• 1 cup unblanched hazelnuts
• 1 cup unsalted butter, room temp
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 lg egg
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 cups plus 2 tablespoons all purpose flour (plus more for the work surface)
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 2/3 cup of jam (I used my Pomegranate Jelly)
• Powder sugar for dusting
