Nibblous | lentil soup

Ingredients

• 1 x teacup of red lentils (washed)
• 1 x teacup of yellow split peas (washed)
• 1 x leek, sliced
• 3-4 x medium sized carrots, diced
• 1 x handful of small potatoes, peeled and chopped
• 1 x small gammon piece or pack of smoked bacon (rolled and tied)
• 1 x small bunch of curly parsley, finely chopped
