Ingredients

• 1 large sweet potato (12 oz.), peeled and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
• 10 ounces fettuccine
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
• 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
• 1 lb. broccoli rabe, rinsed well and cut into 2-inch lengths (~7 cups)
• 1/2 cup water
• 1-1/2 oz. grated Parmesan cheese
• 1/2 tsp black pepper
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
