Ingredients
- 1 medium head red cabbage, finely sliced
- 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped or finely sliced
- 2 sliced apples
- 3 -4 tablespoons vinegar
- 1/3 teaspoon salt
- fresh ground black pepper (lots!)
- 1/4 cup blackberry jam
