I happen to love dates in my desserts, and I thought it would be fun to incorporate them in a chicken recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds (910 grams) pargiyot, cut into bite-size pieces
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 cup Beleaves Pitted Dates, packed
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup light soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic or 4 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
- 4 tablespoons Gefen Lemon Juice
- 2 tablespoons silan, such as Heaven & Earth Date Syrup
- 2 teaspoons Gefen Sesame Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
