Fast and easy campsite-friendly faux Pho with minimal cooking resources, perfect for caravanners. Simmer bone broth and spices, cook sliced beef, and top with noodles and personal touches.
Ingredients
- 1L bone broth
- Cup of water
- 4 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- Juice from half a lime
- 500g beef, very finely sliced against the grain, to add at the end
- 4 star anise
- 2 sticks cinnamon
- 2 sticks of ginger
- 8 whole cloves
- 2 garlic clove, slice at camp
- Boiled water
- 200g flat Rice Noodles
- Coriander, to taste
- Mint, to taste
- Sriracha to taste
- Bean shoots and/or spring onions
