Strawberry blue cheese burger - Sutter Home Family Vineyards

Ingredients

• 2 cups strawberries pureed
• 1 tablespoon juice of lemon
• 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
• 2-3 teaspoons suger (depend on how sweet strawberries are)
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 2 pounds beef sirloin
• 1/2 a small onion chopped
• 1 tablespoon garlic minced
• 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1 tablespoon flat-leaf parsley chopped
• 4 slice of turkey bacon cooked & chopped (or you can buy store box bacon bits)
• 2 teaspoons *Johnny’s seasoning salt
• 1 egg lightly beaten
• 2 tablespoons bread crumbs
• canola oil for brushing a grill & burgers
• 6 kaiser rolls
• 8 oz good creamy blue cheese
• 3 cups baby spinach
• 6 slice of beef tomato
