Ingredients

• 6 hot italian sausages, meat squeezed out of casings
• 5 bay leaves
• 4 garlic cloves, unpeeled
• 1 cup (250 mL) finely diced carrot, celery and onions
• 4 oz (120 g) prosciutto, in small pieces
• 10 cups (2 1/2 L) crushed Tomato
• 1/4 cup (60 mL) extra virgin olive oil
• pepper to taste
