Ingredients

• 2 oz butter
• 2 oz sultanas
• 2 oz sugar
• milk to mix
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 6 oz flour
• cream butter and sugar
• mix in egg
• add sifted flour and baking powder
• add sultanas
• mix with milk to a thick batter and pour into a greased basin
• put basin in a pot of boiling water
