- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup evaporated milk
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 large egg (room temperature)
- Egg Wash: 1 egg and 1 tablespoon water; whisk together
