Apple and California Prune Strudel - California Prunes

Ingredients

• For the short crust pastry:
• 250 g all-purpose flour
• 125 g butter
• 125 g sugar
• 1 medium egg
• 1 tablespoon milk
• 5 g baking powder
• Zest of ½ lemon
• A pinch of salt
• For the filling:
• 3 small Golden apples
• 50 g sugar
• 50 g breadcrumbs
• 60 g California prunes
• 20 g pine nuts
• Juice of 1 lemon
• 2 tablespoons rum
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• To finish:
• 1 egg
• Powdered sugar, to taste
