Marinara or "mariner style" is a typical sauce of Italian coastal towns. It's an unpretentious pasta dish mainly found in seaside trattorias.
Ingredients
- 1 lb mussels
- 1/4 cup Stefano extra virgin olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 to 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups dry white wine
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 648ml jar of Stefano marinara sauce
- Salt and pepper
- 454g Stefano spaghetti
- 1/4 cup Italian parsley, chopped
- Olive oil, for finishing
