Ingredients: • 4-6 slices bacon; • 1/4 cup maple syrup; • 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar; • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper; • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat pastry flour; • 1 teaspoon baking soda; • pinch of salt; • 3 large ripe bananas, mashed; • 5 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce (can use 5 tablespoons melted butter instead but applesauce is a great substitute for a healthier option); • 1 egg, beaten; • 1/2 cup sugar; • 1/3 cup Creamy Peanut Butter; • 3 tablespoons cream cheese; • 1 teaspoon vanilla; • 1/4 cup powdered sugar; • 4 oz Melanie’s Medleys cream cheese (room temperature); • 1/3 cup smooth peanut butter; • 3 tablespoons unsweetened vanilla almond milk (can add more if you like a thinner frosting)
