Ingredients

• for frying Vegetable oil
• 1 cup Sour cream
• 1 cup cooked mashed (about 1 medium potato) sweet potato
• 2 large lightly beaten eggs
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 cup sugar
• 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
• 1 cup finely chopped pecans
• 2 2/3 cups confectioner's sugar
• 3 to 4 tablespoons milk
• 1/4 teaspoon maple extract
