Ingredients

• 10 o.z. boneless round steak,
• cut into eighteen 1" cubes
• 3 o.z. barley
• 1 1/2 o.z. dried lima beans
• 3/4 cup chopped onions
• 3/4 cup chopped carrots
• 1/2 cup sliced celery
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp fennel seeds (optional)
• 1/8 tsp pepper
• 1 cup sliced mushrooms
