Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. russet potatoes
  • 1 Tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 onion minced
  • 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup each, peas and corn (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 eggs (may need 3, depending on size)
  • 2 cups panko (possibly more)
  • Neutral tasting oil for frying vegetable, canola, peanut, etc.
