Ingredients

• ⅔ cups confectioners sugar
• 2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
• 16 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 11 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
• ½ cup honey (local, preferable)
• 3 tablespoons heavy cream
• ½ cup packed light brown sugar
• 2 teaspoons orange zest using fine grate on microplane
• 4 cups pecan halves, chopped coarsely
