Ingredients

• 1 cup dried fruit (chopped apricots, raisins, cherries, etc.)
• ½ cup toasted blanched almonds
• 6 hard-cooked extra-large egg yolks
• 1 pound cream cheese
• 1 pound farmer’s cheese
• A few sheets cheesecloth and a small weight or can
• 3 tablespoons heavy cream
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• ½ cup toasted walnuts
• ⅔ cup confectioners’ sugar
