- ½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- 60 g butter
- 125 ml (½ cup) buttermilk
- pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon caster sugar
- 225 g (1½ cups) self-raising flour
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
