Ingredients

• 2 slices of bacon chopped
• 1 garlic clove minced
• 2 carrots sliced
• 2 medium onions sliced
• 1 green bell pepper sliced
• 3 oz (90 g) whole small mushrooms
• 1 1/2 lb (675 g) stewing beef cubed
• 1/4 cup (60 mL) all-purpose flour
• 3 tbsp (45 mL) paprika
• 1 cup (250 mL) beef broth
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 cup (250 mL) Milk
• 1 tbsp (15 mL) all-purpose flour
• Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
