BBC Food - Recipes - Serrano ham and pear salad

Ingredients

• 3 pears , peeled, cores removed and halved
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• salt and freshly ground black pepper
• 1 tbsp honey
• 50ml/2fl oz cider vinegar
• 150ml/5fl oz extra virgin olive oil
• 250g/8½oz Serrano ham
• 1 tbsp finely chopped pickled pink ginger (available from Asian grocers and some supermarkets)
• 1 tbsp fresh lemon thyme leaves
• 100g/3½oz Roquefort cheese, crumbled
• 1 tbsp chopped walnuts
