Delia's Kaiserschmarrn recipe. These were Austrian emperor Franz Joseph's favourite pancakes - and delightful they are too. He ate them with sultanas, but I think dried cherries are even better....

- 2 tablespoons dark rum
- 140g dried cherries
- 40g unsalted butter
- 100g toasted flaked almonds
- 2 tablespoons golden icing sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
