Ingredients

• Sourdough starter (If you don’t have any starter, use the following in a pinch) 2 cups of flour 2 cups of warm water 1 package of dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
• 2 cups of flour
• 2 cups of warm water
• 1 package of dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 Tbsp. sugar
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 egg
• 2 Tbsp. melted shortening
