I use the packaged bacon. If using packaged bacon hopefully you have saved bacon grease in your refrigerator. Or cook bacon drain and reserve 1 tablespoon bacon

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon bacon grease
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon white sugar (granulated)
- 1 pinch Salt & pepper to taste
- 4 slices bacon — minced (I use packaged crumbled bacon)
- 20 ounces frozen green peas, thawed and well drained
- 2 stalks chopped celery
- 1/2 cup cubed cheddar cheese optional
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
