Ingredients

• 4 cups (1 kg) fresh strawberries hulled and halved
• 2 tsps (10 ml) pure vanilla extract (club house)
• 1/3 cup (75 ml) sugar
• 1/2 tsps (2 ml) cinnamon ground
• 1/4 tsp (1 ml) ginger ground
• 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) all-purpose baking mix, such as Bisquick®
• 3 tbsps (45 ml) sugar
• 3/4 tsp (4 ml) cinnamon ground
• 6 tbsps (90 ml) milk
• 2 cups (500 ml) prepared whipped cream
