- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp of salt
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- oil for cooking, if needed
