- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

- 2 cup self-raising flour, sifted

- 1/2 cup sultanas
- Caramel icing
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 60 gram butter, chopped
- 1 tablespoon cream
- 1 3/4 cup icing-sugar, sifted
