- 2 medium ears of corn, shucked
- 1 quart heavy cream
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 vanilla bean, split with seeds scraped out
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 6 large egg yolks (I had these left over from my macaron making!)
- 2 large eggs

- 1/2 cup sugar
