- 1 kg (i used white fish) fish fillets
- 3 tsp crushed red chilli
- 1 & 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (dry roasted & crushed)
- 1 & 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 to 8 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp red food colour
- 2 tsp ginger & garlic paste
- 1 tsp curry powder
- chaat masala for sprinkling on the fish before serving
- oil for frying
