• 350 g dried white pasta, for instance, elbow macaroni or ditalini pasta
• 2 chopped yellow onions (approx. 150 g)
• 25 g butter
• 2 tbsp wheat flour
• 600 ml milk
• 100 g grated cheddar and maasdam cheese
• 1 tsp coarse salt
• Freshly churned pepper
• 75 g grated cheddar and maasdam cheese
• 450 g frozen beans mix (green beans and mixed beans)
• 1½ litre water
• 1½ tsp coarse salt
• ½ tbsp white wine vinegar
• ½ tbsp Dijon mustard
• ½ tbsp water
• 1 small, crushed garlic clove
• ½ tsp coarse salt
• 1 dl herbs, for instance, flat-leaf parsley, coarsely chopped
