- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

- 200 g sugar
- 1/3 cup whole milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste
- FOR THE SOAKING LIQUID:
- 1/4 cup Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate & Cocoa Sweet Ground Powder
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 (14-oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (12-oz) can evaporated milk
- Pinch kosher salt
- FOR THE CHOCOLATE WHIPPED CREAM
- 4 Tbsp confectioners’ sugar
- 2 Tbsp Ghirardelli Majestic Cocoa Powder
- 2 1/2 cup heavy cream
- FOR THE MERINGUE
- 4 large egg whites
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- FOR THE TUXEDO SHARDS:
- 300 g Ghirardelli Dark Coating Wafers
- 150 g Ghirardelli White Coating Wafers
