- 1 Beef shin AKA Thors hammer
- A&O Uncle Beef Braai rub
- 1 large onion (quartered)
- 4 cloves of garlic (peeled but whole)
- 750ml of bottled Guinness
- 500ml chicken stock
- 2 blocks of readymade shortcrust pastry
- Eggs (for egg wash)
