Cajun Meat Loaf Recipe

Ingredients

• 2 bay leaves
• 1 tbl. salt*
• 1 tsp. cayenne pepper*
• 1 tsp. black pepper*
• 1/2 tsp. white pepper*
• 1/2 tsp. ground cumin*
• 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg*
• 4 tbl. butter, unsalted
• 3/4 c. finely chopped onions
• 1/2 c. finely chopped celery
• 1/2 c. finely chopped green peppers
• 1/4 c. finely chopped green onions
• 2 tsp. minced garlic
• 1 tbl. Tabasco sauce
• 1 tbl. Worcestershire sauce
• 1/2 c. evaporated milk
• 1/2 c. catchup
• 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
• 1/2 lb ground pork
• 2 eggs, lightly beaten
• 1 c. fine dry bread crumbs
