BBQ steaks with a red wine marinade - Irish Beef

Ingredients

• Half a bottle of Shiraz red wine
• 1 garlic bulb
• 1 tbsp mixed peppercorns
• 1 tsp rosemary sprigs
• 1 tsp thyme sprigs
• 4 x 300 g Irish T-bone steaks
• 12 new potatoes (even-sized and red skinned if possible)
• 3 tbsp olive oil
• ¬º tsp chopped fresh rosemary
• ¬º tsp chopped fresh thyme
• sea salt and freshly-ground black pepper
• lightly dressed spinach salad
