Ingredients

• 3 cups grated potatoes (I use russet or Idaho), liquid squeezed out
• 4 eggs, divided
• 3/4 cup flour, divided
• 1 teaspoon Manischewitz Kosher Salt
• 1/2 teaspoon onion flakes/powder (you can use grated onion if you prefer)
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic flakes/powder (you can use 1 clove of minced garlic if you prefer)
• freshly ground pepper
• 9 to 10 sticks of string cheese, halved
• oil, for frying
