Hāmākua Mushroom Beef Recipe — Chef Hui

Ingredients

• 2 lbs local ground beef
• 1 each yellow onion, 1/2 grated, 1/2 sliced
• 1 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp black pepper
• 2 Tbsp sauce (choose Worcestershire, ketchup, A1 or BBQ sauce)
• *optional 1 tsp garlic powder or 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/4 cup canola oil
• 1 pack Hāmākua mushrooms, sliced
• 1/4 water + 3 Tbsp AP flour
