This jammy, spicy, pleasingly tart cocktail is served at New York restaurant Daniel to celebrate the Academy Awards.
Ingredients
- 1 oz. vodka
- 2 oz. fresh bergamot juice or 1 oz. each grapefruit and orange juice
- <sup>1</sup>⁄<sub>2</sub> oz. simple syrup
- 2 tsp. pear jam
- 1 (1/4") piece ginger, peeled and finely grated
- 1 egg white
- Dash Angostura bitters
- Edible gold, for garnish
