Fragrant Lamb Stew Curry

Ingredients

• 1.5 kg loin lamb chops
• 125 ml cooking oil
• 1 tbsp Lamb Rub (Herbs & Spices) (Optional)
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 cinnamon sticks
• 1 tbsp vinegar
• 2 large onions, chopped
• 3 cloves garlic, crushed
• ½ tsp ground fine ginger
• ¼ tsp turmeric
• 4 tbsp strong curry powder
• small potatoes, cut in half
• 3 large carrots, scraped and cut
• 1 small carton cherry tomatoes
• salt to taste
• 750 ml boiling water
• 500 ml boiling water
