• 7-8 lb beef brisket
• 15 oz ketchup
• 1.5 cups dry red wine
• 1.5 cups water
• 1.5 tbsp chicken base
• 0.25 cup dehydrated onion flakes
• 6 cloves garlic (roughly chopped)
• 2 onions (roughly chopped)
• 6 large carrots (cut into chunks)
• to taste salt and pepper
