• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
• 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter
• 2/3 cup whole buttermilk
• 2 tablespoons almonds, sliced
