• 2 cups all-purpose flour

• 1/2 cup buttermilk
• 6 cups chopped pecans or mixed nuts (pecans, walnuts, almonds)
• 1 cup chopped candied cherries
• 6 slices candied pineapple, chopped
• 1 (8-ounce) box chopped dates
