Beer Caramel Corn with Pretzels & Pecans

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup un-popped popcorn
• 1/2 cup coconut or peanut or canola oil
• 1-2 cups chopped pecans
• 1/2 cups pretzels
• 12 oz bottle pecan beer or brown ale
• 3 Tbsp unsalted butter
• 2 cups brown sugar
• 1 cup heavy (whipping) cream
• heavy pinch salt
• 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
