- 1/2 small yellow onion, (finely chopped)
- 1/4 cup loosely packed fresh basil leaves, (coarsely chopped)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley leaves,
- 1 egg (lightly beaten)
- 1/4 cup plain dry bread crumbs
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper

- 8 ounces spaghetti (cooked and drained)
