Black Bean & Corn Salsa - National Onion Association

Ingredients

• 2 (16-ounce) cans black beans, drained and rinsed
• 1 (12-ounce) can white corn, drained and rinsed, or 1 (14-ounce) package frozen corn, thawed
• 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
• 3/4 cup finely diced red, yellow, and/or green bell peppers
• 1 medium red onion, finely chopped
• 1 (14-ounce) can diced tomatoes, partially drained
• 1 jalapeño, finely chopped, or more to taste
• 1 tablespoon canola oil
• 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
