Japchae (Korean Stir-fried Glass Noodle) - Angie's recipe & review
Japchae (Korean Stir-Fried Glass Noodle) will make your diner table colourful and it can serve as either a side or main dish.
Ingredients
- 180-200 grams Korean sweet potato starch noodles
- 1 carrot
- 80 grams spinach
- 1/2 bell pepper (You can use any color, but I would suggest red or yellow as green is a bit bitter.)
- 2 large dried shiitake mushroom (Soak these in hot water at least for an hour. Also you can add more if you like. )
- A handful of bean sprouts (Optional)
- 1 egg (Optional)
- 1/2 onion
- 1/6 tsp Sea salt
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 2/3 tsp sesame oil
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 3/4 tbsp Honey
- 3/4 tbsp Brown sugar
- 3/8 tbsp sesame oil
- A pinch of black pepper to taste
