I love beef stew when the weather is cold. It really does warm me up, and it is easy to make!

- 2 or 4 carrots
- 2 or 3 potatoes
- 1/2 or 1 onion
- other vegetables, optional (I like green beans if I have them on hand)
- 1 package of beef stew meat

- onion powder
- cumin

- basil
- pepper
- Himalayan pink salt
- 2 to 2-1/2 cups water
