• 345g butter softened
• 345g caster sugar
• 3 tsp vanilla paste
• 6 large eggs
• 345g self-raising flour
• 1½ tsp baking powder
• 3 tbsp milk
• 400g unsalted butter softened, plus extra for the tin
• 800g icing sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla paste
• 7 gelatine leaves
• 200g sugar
• 200g condensed milk
• 350g white chocolate finely chopped
• gel food colouring (we used pink, blue and purple)
• gold lustre (optional)
