• 1 (12 oz) bottle stout beer
• 1 cup beef broth
• 3 Tbsp. minced garlic
• 2-3 sprigs fresh dill

• 1 lb. carrots, cut into ½" pieces
• 1 head green cabbage, cut into sixths
