I've used the recipes from this old cookbook for more than 20 years. It was pub. 1996 & has some unique recipes so I'll share this interesting but delish version of a time honoured classic.
Ingredients
- 3 medium onions
- 60g/2oz vegan butter
- 30g flour (wheat, rice, soya)
- 1 litre boiling vegetable stock
- 4 Slices of bread, cut crosswise
- 60g vegan Cheddar cheese, grated
- 30g vegan Parmesan cheese, grated
